Truke Buds S1

The sounds on Truke Buds S1 are incredible and crystal clear, with nice mids and highs. The only criticism is that the bass is a little too low, and the treble is a little too high. We aren’t fans of its sonic signature, but at the price, we can’t complain too much.
Voice calling on mobile as well as video calls was also quite good, and we had no problems. The voice was clear and audible even in a packed environment. We also put the mic to the test, and it functioned perfectly, allowing us to communicate without any problems. If you enjoy bass, you will likely enjoy the earbuds because they excel in this area. The calling quality improved dramatically because to the Quad MEMS Mic for Clear Call. It also has environmental noise reduction, which works well and cancels out background noise for clear audio.
Despite being composed of plastic, the Truke S1 has a very durable and good design. We have no issues regarding the plastic body, which has a matte surface, is dust-resistant, and does not feel cheap. The case has a sliding case that is modern, pricey, and one-of-a-kind. The cover also contains an LED-based battery indication on the inside, which is really useful and, in our opinion, a must-have feature that we wish other manufactures would follow.
In our perspective, the earbuds are comfy to wear and fit properly in the ears. Both buds are extremely light and do not feel like they are in the ear. The ear tips that come with the earbuds can also be changed to suit your needs. Both buds offer gesture touch capabilities for controlling music, Google Assistant, Siri, and call controls, among other things. The operating latency and touch response are excellent for a basic TWS, and we had no problems. The earbuds are sweatproof and come with an IPX4 Sweat and Water-Resistant certification, allowing you to use them when exercising or at the gym. The overall construction and design are excellent, and we have no issues.
The Truke Buds S1 include Bluetooth 5.1, which means they have a longer range, are more stable, and have a lower latency. We tested the earbuds at a distance of 10 metres and found no problems with connectivity. In addition, thanks to Bluetooth 5.1, the battery consumption is low. It was simple to connect the Truke Buds S1 to the smartphone. Simply pull the earphones out of the package, and it will connect to the smartphone immediately. We were impressed with how quickly these couple to any connected Android/iOS.
In addition, the company has added a dedicated Gaming mode to reduce gaming latency. To engage the game mode, tap any earbud three times, and the mode will be active; this mode provides low latency. By triple touching the earpiece again, you can return to music mode. Although this mode switching motion did not always operate perfectly, it was more often than not a hit or miss when it came to enabling the mode.
Battery & Charging
Truke Buds S1 comes with a 500mAh battery and a charging case that provides 5-6 extra charges. In 1.5 hours, the earbuds are fully charged. It has a battery life of up to 5-6 hours when fully charged and 35-40 hours with the charging case based on the volume.
- For gaming, the sound quality is excellent.
- Each earbud has a dual microphone.
- Design of a Premium Sliding Case
- Extra comfort is provided by the lightweight design.
- Value for money
- Dedicated Gaming Mode
- Fast Pairing
- Water and Sweat Resistant
- For music, the sound quality is decent.
Truke Buds S1 is a great TWS for the money and provides a wonderful experience. Though we had hoped for a little bit more bass. In its segment, the more TWS is availabe the Truke Buds Q1 and the Ptron Jade Earbuds. However, you might consider purchasing the Truke Buds S1 and you will not be disappointed.
